● Disease Prevention: Proper nutrition is one of the most effective ways to prevent chronic diseases such as heart disease, diabetes, and certain types of cancer. A diet rich in fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and lean proteins can lower the risk of developing these conditions.
● Immune System Support: A well-balanced diet provides essential vitamins and minerals that support a robust immune system. This helps the body fend off infections and illnesses, potentially extending one’s lifespan.
● Energy and Vitality: A nutritious diet provides the energy necessary for daily activities and maintains overall vitality. When you eat the right foods, you feel more energetic and can engage in physical and mental activities that promote longevity.
● Healthy Aging: Proper nutrition can slow the aging process and reduce the risk of age-related health issues. Antioxidants, found in many fruits and vegetables, help protect the body from oxidative stress and cellular damage associated with aging.
● Weight Management: Maintaining a healthy weight through a balanced diet can reduce the risk of obesity-related conditions like heart disease and type 2 diabetes, ultimately promoting longevity.
● Cognitive Health: Nutrition also affects brain health. Nutrients like omega-3 fatty acids, found in fish, and antioxidants can support cognitive function and reduce the risk of conditions like Alzheimer’s disease.
● Bone Health: Adequate intake of calcium and vitamin D is essential for maintaining strong bones. Good bone health is crucial as we age, as it reduces the risk of fractures and mobility issues that can impact longevity.
● Digestive Health: A healthy diet with sufficient fiber helps maintain good digestive health, reducing the risk of digestive disorders. A well-functioning digestive system supports the absorption of essential nutrients.
● Cardiovascular Health: Proper nutrition can lower blood pressure and reduce the risk of heart disease. A diet low in saturated fats and high in fiber can improve heart health and promote longevity.
●Lifestyle Choices: Good nutrition often goes hand-in-hand with other healthy lifestyle choices, such as regular exercise and avoiding smoking and excessive alcohol consumption. This combination of factors contributes to a longer and healthier life.
You will also have monthly check-ins with your PRIME Health Coach for continued support.
No, we do not take insurance as they don't typically cover alternative/preventative/functional medicine. But we can send you a superbill and you can submit it to your insurance to see if they will cover it.
Yes, all providers are trained to create a PRIME Health Plan in the same way, but each plan is unique to the needs of the patient. So all of our providers are similar in that way. Each provider may also have unique specialities. Typically a patient will come in, receive a PRIME Health Plan and after they're comfortable with how the clinic works they may utilize the advanced services of any provider but the doctor who created their initial health plan will remain their primary provider at PRIME.
Step 1: Fill out your intake form
Step 2: Schedule your blood work at home (extra fee) or in clinic. You do not need to go to Quest or Labcorp which can be inconvenient and frustrating.
Step 3: Do your Initial Visit and receive your PRIME Health Plan.
Step 4: Get any personalized supplements, peptides, medications right from the clinic (if needed).
Step 5: Continue on your healing journey with support from our doctors, nurses, and medical assistants as needed.
You're welcome to ask for a specific provider and we will do our best to accommodate, however since each provider is trained to create a PRIME Health Plan in the same way, and since we heavily vet our providers, you can be confident with any doctor here at PRIME. We recommend that you start sooner with whoever has an opening vs waiting for a certain provider, since our goal is to help get you as healthy as possible as soon as possible.
Our blood tests go deeper than what you'd typically get from your primary care doctor or any doctor that takes insurance. If you've done lab work within the last year we can use it, but we may need to order anything that is missing so that your doctor here can fully address your needs. Please call us if you have any further questions.
We are able to do blood draws in our clinic making it very convenient for our patients. We also offer at home blood draws if needed. Your doctor will help you decide which testing is best for your specific scenario. They typically ask a patient to do a little more testing up front until we get your treatment plan dialed in and then you can move into "cruise control" with less testing less frequently as long as you're healthy and feeling good. We can use your blood work from another provider as long as it is less than 1 year old.
Yes. We source the highest quality clinical grade peptides and have been offering peptide therapy for a long time (before it was popular.) Our doctors are highly experienced and will help you enjoy the benefits of peptides in a safe way that is personalized to you.
